Homeopathic Products: We can supply these by mail order via our web site, personally phoning or by fax.
Dispensing Prescriptions: We dispense homeopathic, NHS and private prescriptions and give advice on how to best take your medicines.
As well as carrying a wide range of prescription medicines, we are able to quickly obtain medicines and appliances that your doctor may prescribe or which have to be made especially for you.
Patient Medication Records: We keep a record of all prescriptions that we prepare for you unless you indicate that you do not want us to.
Our records will indicate which medicines you are taking and will help us to deal with any questions that you may have. All of our medicine labels have advice about how you should take or use the medicine, this may include warnings and precautions that you should follow.
Repeat Description Collection & Delivery Service: We can arrange to collect your repeat prescription from your doctor's surgery and have it prepared and ready for you to collect from the pharmacy. If you are unable to call in we can deliver.
Medicine Containers: All tablets, liquids and capsules are supplied in child resistant containers , unless you ask us not to do so. Keep all medicines out of children's reach in order to prevent accidents.
Patients who may have difficulty in remembering to take their medicines regularly can often benefit from using special “monitored dosage “containers. Daily doses are conveniently packaged, and marked with the time that they should be taken. There may be a charge for this service.
Advice on Medicines: Our pharmacist is always available to give you advice on medicines and how to treat minor illnesses.
We stock a wide range of effective medicines that you can buy over the counter.
Unwanted Medicines: Keeping old or out-of-date medicines at home can be dangerous. Putting them in the bi is not recommended. We will accept any medicines that you may no longer require and will dispose of them safely for you.
Home Health Catalogue: An extensive range of products, designed to make life easier in and around the home, is available to order through our Home Health catalogue.
Stockings & Support Tights: We supply all types of surgical stockings, support tights and trusses and will have them made to measure where necessary.
Special Dietary Requirements: We stock a wide range of vitamins and minerals. We can also provide gluten-free and other special foods and medicines.
First Aid Equipment: We stock a variety of first aid kits, for use in the home, when travelling or in the workplace.
Ostomy & Incontinence Products: We carry a range of ostomy and incontinence products. However these products do come in a number of sizes and fittings, so please ask for more information about how we can meet your needs.
Residential & Nursing Homes: We can provide a pharmacy service to residential and nursing homes in the area. This includes delivery of medicines and advice on using, storing, and disposing of them safely. We can also supply training for care staff on the safe use of medicines. We keep medication records and can supply a monitored dosage system that helps ensure the medicines are taken at the correct time.
Pregnancy Tests & Ovulation Kits: We stock a range of home testing kits for ovulation and pregnancy confirmation. Please ask for more information.
Complaints: If you are unhappy with the services or pharmacy products supplied to you, discuss the matter with a member of staff. If you are still unhappy, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.
If you have a complaint about our NHS services you can contact the local health authority.
Urgent Prescriptions: For details of the out-of-hours rota service in this area, please refer to the notice displayed in local pharmacy windows, doctor's surgeries or in the local press.
Emergency Contraception: Emergency contraception is available in this pharmacy.
Diabetes Blood Glucose Meters: We stock a range of blood glucose meters for diabetes and offer a free calibration service on all models.
Travel & Holiday Advice: We can help you to plan any trip or holiday, regardless of the destination. Whether you require sun preparations and travel sickness tablets, or advice about vaccinations and malaria tablets, our Pharmacist will be happy to help you with all your holiday and travel plans.
